SHEQ Superintendent

GMS Mining Services is seeking a SHEQ Superintendent for its Twin Hills mining operation near Karibib. This senior SHEQ opportunity forms part of the company’s expanding workforce supporting long-term mining operations in Namibia’s Erongo Region. The position focuses on the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) function within an open-pit mining environment. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining strong safety and operational standards while supporting the company’s mining activities. Role Focus * Support the management of SHEQ activities across mining operations. * Promote workplace health and safety standards. * Support environmental and quality requirements. * Assist with implementation and monitoring of SHEQ procedures. * Promote hazard awareness and safe working practices. * Work with operational teams to support compliance. * Contribute to continuous improvement of safety and quality practices. * Support a strong safety culture across the mining operation. Requirements Applicants should possess a relevant degree or diploma, appropriate experience for the position and open-pit mining experience.
