Wholesale and Retail Operations Instructor

Higher Institute of Technology is recruiting a Part-Time Wholesale and Retail Operations Instructor for its Ondangwa workstation. The instructor will provide vocational education and practical training for the National Vocational Certificate Wholesale and Retail Operations Level 2 programme. The position requires an instructor with relevant wholesale and retail qualifications who can prepare learners for practical employment within retail stores, wholesale businesses and related commercial environments. Training will combine classroom learning with practical instruction and competency assessment applicable to retail and wholesale operations. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver theoretical and practical instruction in Wholesale and Retail Operations at NVC Level 2. • Prepare structured lessons and practical vocational activities. • Train learners in workplace-oriented wholesale and retail competencies. • Support development of customer-service, operational and retail workplace skills. • Conduct assessments and maintain accurate trainee records. • Participate in competency assessments and moderation processes. • Provide constructive learner feedback and academic support. • Promote professionalism and appropriate workplace practices. • Ensure training meets applicable NTA and NVC programme expectations. Minimum Requirements: • Relevant qualification specifically related to Wholesale and Retail Operations. • TVET Instructor course or equivalent instructor training. • At least 2 years' experience in instructing, assessing and moderating trainees. • Experience assessing NTA trainees. • Candidates currently working at other vocational training centres may apply for this part-time position. Instruction may take place during daytime hours, evenings from 17:00 and Saturdays from 09:00.
