Ondangwa Private Hospital is recruiting three Registered Nurse Specialists (ICU/NICU) to join its professional healthcare team. About the Role
Provide specialised nursing care for critically ill adult and neonatal patients while ensuring clinical excellence, patient safety and quality healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver patient and family-centred care.
* Ensure health and safety compliance.
* Provide clinical care and teamwork.
* Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
* Care for ICU and neonatal intensive care patients.
* Manage medical equipment and ward stock.
* Supervise junior staff when required.
* Perform administrative nursing duties.
* Maintain infection prevention and quality control standards.
Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery.
* Advanced Diploma in Intensive Care and/or Neonatal ICU is advantageous.
* Foreign qualifications must be evaluated by the Namibia Qualifications Authority (NQA).
* Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse.
* Minimum 2 years’ ICU and/or NICU experience.
* Ability to perform critical care procedures.
* Experience operating ventilators, infusion pumps and monitoring equipment.
* Registered with the Health Professions Council of Namibia (HPCNA).
* Namibian citizen or eligible to work in Namibia.
