Factory General Manager

Medusalem Gravestones & Investment CC is seeking an experienced Factory General Manager to oversee its manufacturing operations at the Olukonda Factory in Ondangwa. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of production, employees, machinery, stock and factory workflow while ensuring production targets, quality standards and operational deadlines are consistently achieved. Key Duties and Responsibilities: • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing factory. • Manage production activities, factory staff, machinery, stock and workflow. • Ensure production targets, quality standards and operational deadlines are met. • Supervise and coordinate factory personnel and departmental activities. • Monitor the use, condition and maintenance of factory machinery and equipment. • Ensure equipment is used efficiently and maintained to support reliable production. • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures throughout factory operations. • Coordinate operational activities with management, logistics, stock, finance and sales departments. • Identify production and operational challenges and implement practical and effective solutions. • Monitor workflow and help improve factory productivity, efficiency and resource utilisation. • Prepare regular factory performance and operational reports for management. • Provide leadership to factory employees and maintain an organised, productive and safety-conscious working environment. Requirements: • Grade 12 certificate. • Minimum of 5 years' experience working in a manufacturing factory environment. • Knowledge and practical experience in granite and marble processing or manufacturing. • Valid driver's licence. • Proven leadership and supervisory experience. • Good communication and organisational skills. • Strong problem-solving and operational management abilities. • Ability to coordinate staff, machinery, production and workflow effectively. • Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
