Ongwediva Medipark Private Hospital is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Nursing Services Manager to lead its Nursing Services Department. Reporting directly to the Hospital Manager, the successful candidate will oversee nursing operations, quality assurance, patient care standards, staff performance, and strategic nursing initiatives across the hospital. This leadership role is ideal for a senior nursing professional with strong management experience, a passion for healthcare excellence, and a commitment to delivering quality patient-centered care. ⸻ Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership * Participate in strategic planning, implementation, and monitoring activities. * Align nursing operations with organizational objectives. * Support continuous improvement initiatives across the hospital. Nursing Operations Management * Develop and coordinate nursing care programs across all nursing units. * Ensure efficient operation of the Nursing Department. * Guide Unit Managers on quality care standards and best practices. * Promote patient-centered care and service excellence. Quality Assurance & Compliance * Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System standards. * Review and implement nursing policies, procedures, and standards. * Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and governance requirements. Staff Management & Performance * Set and review performance targets for nursing staff. * Support leadership development and workforce planning. * Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and teamwork. Stakeholder Engagement * Maintain strong relationships with referring doctors and healthcare service providers. * Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve patient outcomes. Reporting & Decision Making * Collect, analyze, and interpret healthcare and operational data. * Prepare reports and recommendations for Executive Management and the Board of Directors. * Support evidence-based decision-making processes. ⸻ Minimum Requirements Education * Degree in Nursing Science. Experience * Minimum 7 years of nursing experience. * At least 3 years should be at Unit Manager or middle-management level. Professional Registration * Current registration with HPCNA (Health Professions Council of Namibia).
