A newly established lodge in Opuwo, Kunene Region is seeking a professional, disciplined, and hands-on Lodge Manager to oversee the daily operations of its growing hospitality and cultural tourism destination. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing lodge operations, supervising staff, ensuring excellent guest experiences, and maintaining high hospitality standards. The role includes overseeing housekeeping, kitchen operations, guest services, bookings, lodge administration, stock control, purchasing, maintenance coordination, and daily operational reporting. The Lodge Manager will also ensure the smooth running of the cultural village experience while maintaining cleanliness, health, and safety standards across the property. Candidates should have strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, along with experience in hospitality or lodge management. Experience with booking systems and lodge administration will be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee daily lodge operations * Manage staff, housekeeping, kitchen, and guest services * Handle bookings, check-ins, and lodge administration * Supervise stock control, purchasing, and reporting * Coordinate maintenance and lodge upkeep * Prepare operational and financial reports * Ensure excellent guest experience and hospitality standards * Maintain health, safety, and cleanliness standards Requirements: * Previous hospitality or lodge management experience * Strong leadership and communication skills * Good organizational and problem-solving abilities * Basic computer skills including email and spreadsheets * Experience with lodge booking systems is advantageous * Valid driver’s license is an added advantage Benefits: * Competitive salary * Accommodation on site * Career growth opportunities * Unique cultural tourism working environment
