General Manager

Sun Square Hotel is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead its hotel operations in Oshikango, Namibia. The General Manager will oversee the day-to-day operation of the hotel and develop and implement strategic plans that support business growth, operational performance and quality hospitality service. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel and coordinate activities across operational departments. • Develop and implement strategic plans that support business growth and effective hotel operations. • Provide leadership and direction to hotel staff and promote efficient service delivery. • Monitor operational performance and ensure hotel activities are managed effectively. • Support high standards of guest service and respond appropriately to operational and customer-service matters. • Coordinate departmental activities to support smooth hotel operations. • Monitor service standards and promote consistent hospitality practices throughout the property. • Support effective staff management, communication and workplace coordination. • Identify operational challenges and implement appropriate solutions to maintain service efficiency. • Build effective working relationships with staff, guests and relevant stakeholders. • Contribute to the continued growth and performance of the hotel through strong operational leadership. Requirements: • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in hospitality management. • Fluency in both Chinese and English, written and spoken. • Strong leadership skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong understanding of hotel and hospitality operations. • Ability to oversee multiple operational responsibilities and provide effective management direction.
