Drilling Fluids Specialist

Katjaerua Incorporated, on behalf of its client Rust Resources UK, is seeking two experienced Drilling Fluids Specialists to join its operations team. The successful candidates will be responsible for developing and implementing drilling, completion, and waste management fluid programs while ensuring operational efficiency and safety compliance across drilling activities. The role includes coordinating and leading all fluid-related operations, overseeing logistics and handling of fluids and waste materials, and promoting a strong culture of safety and teamwork. Candidates will also mentor personnel on drilling fluid procedures and contribute to continuous operational improvement and cost management initiatives. This position is ideal for highly experienced drilling professionals with strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and extensive knowledge of drilling operations within the oil, gas, or mining sectors. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and implement drilling and waste management fluid programs * Coordinate and oversee fluid-related operational activities * Ensure compliance with contractual and safety standards * Manage logistics and handling of fluids and waste materials * Mentor and train personnel on fluids-related operations * Promote safety, teamwork, and operational excellence * Monitor costs and contribute to process improvements Requirements: * Minimum 20 years experience in drilling operations * Industry-recognized drilling fluids training * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in multicultural environments * Strong leadership and operational coordination abilities
