Load & Haul Supervisor

Beifang Mining Technology Services (Namibia) Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced Load & Haul Supervisor to lead and supervise loading and hauling operations at the Rössing Site. The successful candidate will ensure safe, efficient, and productive mining activities while managing production teams, enforcing operational standards, and achieving production targets through effective leadership and resource management. Key Responsibilities * Lead and supervise load and haul production teams. * Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and statutory regulations. * Execute production plans and schedules to meet operational targets. * Monitor equipment utilization and operational performance. * Mentor and develop team members to improve productivity. * Manage resources efficiently, including fuel, tyres, and water usage. * Conduct workplace inspections and investigate incidents. * Identify hazards and implement corrective actions. * Compile shift reports and maintain operational records. * Ensure compliance with operational SOPs and mining regulations. Minimum Requirements Qualifications * Grade 12 Certificate (minimum 20 points) or higher. * Valid Code B Driver’s License. * Open Pit Blasting Ticket will be an added advantage. Experience * Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor in a mining environment. * Competency certificates for Excavator and Dozer operations are required. * Experience in load and haul operations will be advantageous. Knowledge & Skills * Strong leadership and people management abilities. * Effective communication and decision-making skills. * General knowledge of open-pit mining operations. * Good understanding of safety, production, and equipment management practices. * Ability to manage teams and achieve production targets in a fast-paced mining environment. * Strong reporting and administrative skills.
