Diesel Mechanic

Kneumayer is seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanic to inspect, service, diagnose, and repair heavy mobile and earthmoving equipment operating in Namibia. Key Responsibilities * Inspect and service heavy mobile equipment. * Diagnose and repair diesel engines and mechanical faults. * Perform preventative maintenance. * Repair hydraulic, transmission, braking, and electrical systems. * Complete maintenance reports and job cards. * Read technical manuals and service information. * Ensure equipment reliability and safety. * Follow workplace health and safety procedures. * Work with workshop and field maintenance teams. * Maintain high-quality repair standards. Minimum Requirements * Minimum 3 years’ experience as a diesel mechanic. * Level 3 Diesel Mechanic qualification, Trade Certificate, or equivalent. * Experience working on heavy mobile or earthmoving equipment. * Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, transmissions, and braking systems. * Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical faults. * Good communication and teamwork skills. * Valid driver’s licence. * Computer literacy is an advantage.
