Senior Chemist & Quality Control Supervisor

TEA Laboratories is seeking a highly experienced Senior Chemist & Quality Control Supervisor to coordinate laboratory processes and ensure the smooth, effective, efficient, and reliable running of the laboratory. Requirements & Experience: * Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or equivalent scientific discipline * Postgraduate specialization will be advantageous * Minimum 12 years’ progressive experience in high-complexity analytical laboratories * Experience with metallurgical, trace element, and environmental analysis * Demonstrated competence as an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Technical Signatory * Experience in: * Method validation and uncertainty estimation * Proficiency testing evaluation * Root-cause analysis and corrective action implementation * Advanced knowledge of extractive metallurgy, ore preparation, and mineral process chemistry * Experience with analytical instrumentation including: * XRF * ICP-OES * ICP-MS * AAS * GC * IC * HPLC * XRD * UV-VIS spectroscopy * Experience developing and defending accreditation scopes with accreditation bodies * Strong statistical competence in analytical data validation and quality control evaluation Key Performance Areas: * ISO 17025 Technical Governance * Advanced Analytical Chemistry * Instrumentation Oversight & Quality Control * Systems & Statistical Validation * Method Development & Accreditation Scope Expansion * Laboratory Risk, Safety, and Compliance Management * Technical Reporting & Client Assurance
