Diesel Mechanic

Beifang Mining Technology Services is looking for 3 Diesel Mechanics to perform inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs, and overhaul of heavy mining equipment and LDVs at the Rössing Site. Requirements: * Grade 12 certificate with 24 points across 6 subjects * Trade certificate in N3 / L3 * Valid Code B or higher driver’s licence * At least 3 years’ maintenance experience on heavy earth-moving equipment and light vehicles in the mining industry * Strong communication and organisational skills * Adherence to company safety standards Responsibilities: * Diagnose and repair mechanical faults * Maintain preventative maintenance schedules * Replace defective parts and systems * Test repaired equipment * Perform standby duties and overtime when necessary * Report SHE-related incidents and near misses * Maintain housekeeping standards in the work area
