About the Position K Neumayer Civil Contractors is seeking an experienced and highly organised Project Planner to support major construction and industrial projects in Swakopmund and Karibib. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong planning, scheduling, and reporting experience who can effectively monitor project progress and contribute to successful project delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing project schedules, tracking progress, producing reports, identifying delays, and supporting recovery planning to ensure projects remain on schedule and within operational targets. Key Responsibilities * Develop, maintain, and update project schedules. * Monitor construction progress against approved project plans. * Track project productivity and performance indicators. * Prepare weekly and monthly planning reports. * Identify schedule deviations and recommend corrective actions. * Support project recovery and acceleration plans when required. * Coordinate planning activities with project managers, engineers, and site teams. * Monitor critical paths and project milestones. * Maintain accurate project records and planning documentation. * Assist management with forecasting and resource planning. * Produce progress measurement reports and performance analysis. Minimum Requirements Qualifications A qualification in one of the following fields will be advantageous: * Project Planning * Project Management * Engineering * Construction Management * Related technical discipline Experience * Minimum 3–5 years of planning experience. * Experience in: * Construction projects * Mining projects * Industrial projects * Proven experience in project scheduling and reporting. Technical Skills Strong proficiency in: * Microsoft Project * Primavera P6 * Project scheduling software * Construction reporting systems * Progress tracking tools Industry Knowledge * Construction sequencing and scheduling. * Productivity monitoring and reporting. * Progress measurement techniques. * Resource planning and forecasting. * Construction project controls. Required Competencies * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Strong reporting and documentation abilities. * High attention to detail. * Excellent stakeholder coordination skills. * Strong communication abilities. * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. * Effective organisational and time-management skills. * Ability to manage multiple project priorities simultaneously.
