Junior Stock Controller

We are looking for a motivated, organised and computer-savvy Junior Stock Controller to join The Lighthouse Group in Swakopmund. This opportunity is suitable for someone who has studied stock control, inventory management or a related field and wishes to develop practical experience in a busy hospitality environment. Key Responsibilities: • Assist with daily stock management and administration. • Capture and process stock information accurately. • Monitor stock levels and assist with stock counts. • Check deliveries, invoices and stock movements. • Maintain accurate records in stock control systems. • Follow internal stock management procedures and reporting requirements. • Report stock shortages and discrepancies to the Procurement Manager. • Support the procurement and inventory teams with administrative duties. Requirements: • Relevant studies or qualifications in stock control, inventory management or a related field. • Some practical experience using computerised stock control or inventory management systems. • Good computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel. • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail. • Organised, reliable and able to follow procedures. • Enthusiastic, adaptable and willing to learn. • Positive attitude and ability to take direction.
