OHS Instructor

Occupational Health & Safety Academy is seeking a qualified and motivated OHS Instructor to join its professional training team in Swakopmund. The academy is looking for a passionate individual who can contribute to occupational health and safety education while helping students and workers gain practical knowledge and compliance skills for workplace safety environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering occupational health and safety training, supporting learners, and promoting a strong culture of workplace safety awareness. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, practical industry knowledge, and a passion for training and development. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct Occupational Health and Safety training sessions and practical instruction. • Assist learners in understanding workplace safety procedures, regulations, and compliance standards. • Prepare and organize training materials and learning activities. • Support students with guidance, mentorship, and professional development. • Ensure all training activities align with occupational health and safety standards. • Maintain professional classroom and practical training environments. • Participate in continuous improvement of training programs and instructional methods. • Promote workplace safety awareness and best practices across all training activities. Requirements: • Occupational Health and Safety qualification – Level 6. • Strong understanding of workplace safety principles and occupational health standards. • Good communication and presentation skills. • Experience in training or instruction will be an added advantage. • Ability to work professionally with students and team members. • Organized, reliable, and committed to high-quality training delivery.
