Junior Accountant

Build It Ondangwa is looking for a detail-oriented and trustworthy Junior Accountant to join its finance team. The successful candidate will assist with financial operations, perform bank reconciliations, manage budgets and purchase controls, maintain accounting records, and support the finance department in ensuring accurate and efficient financial management. Key Responsibilities * Perform daily accounting and financial administration duties. * Prepare and complete bank reconciliations. * Assist with budgeting and purchase control processes. * Maintain accurate financial records and reports. * Work with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel. * Monitor financial transactions and resolve discrepancies. * Ensure compliance with company financial procedures. * Support month-end and year-end financial processes. * Protect confidential financial information. * Assist the finance team with additional accounting responsibilities. Minimum Requirements * Relevant Accounting or Finance qualification. * At least 3 years’ hands-on finance experience. * Practical banking and bank reconciliation experience. * Experience working with budgets and purchase controls. * Strong Microsoft Excel and accounting system skills. * Good numerical ability and strong attention to detail. * Trustworthy, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality. * Able to work independently and meet deadlines. * Comfortable following up and resolving financial discrepancies.
