SPAR is hiring a Confectioner / Pastry Chef to efficiently produce quality bakery and confectionery products on time. The successful candidate will prepare items such as cakes, tarts, pralines, and savoury treats while ensuring quality and hygiene standards are maintained.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for receiving orders
• Responsible for stock take on allocated counters before shop opens
• Strictly follow recipes
• Perform stock rotation according to FIFO principles
• Comply with health and safety regulations
Skills Required:
• Ability to work under pressure
• Planning and organizing capabilities
• Must be proactively creative
• Ability to complete tasks according to required standards
Qualifications & Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a confectionery or bakery environment
