About the Position
K Neumayer Civil Contractors is seeking a skilled and commercially focused Quantity Surveyor to join its project team in Swakopmund and Karibib. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project measurements, valuations, cost control, variations, and commercial reporting to support project profitability and financial governance.
This opportunity is ideal for a professional with strong construction, civil, mining, or industrial project experience who can ensure accurate project costing, contract administration, and commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and manage project measurements and valuations.
* Monitor project costs and budgets.
* Administer contract documentation and commercial records.
* Manage project variations and claims processes.
* Prepare cost reports and financial forecasts.
* Track project expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
* Support procurement and subcontractor management activities.
* Review and verify contractor and supplier invoices.
* Assist with project planning and commercial strategy.
* Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures.
* Maintain accurate project financial records and reporting systems.
* Work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
* Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related built environment qualification.
Experience
* Minimum 3–5 years of Quantity Surveying experience.
* Experience within construction, civil engineering, mining, or industrial projects.
* Proven experience in:

* Cost reporting
* Commercial administration
Technical Knowledge
Strong understanding of:
* Construction contracts
* Scope control and change management
* Commercial documentation

Proficiency in:
* Microsoft Excel
* Quantity Surveying measurement systems
* Cost reporting templates
* CCS/Candy or similar Quantity Surveying software (advantageous)
