Senior Safety Officer

Beifang Mining Technology Services is hiring a Senior Safety Officer to support mining operations by ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. The role includes conducting inspections, investigations, audits, reporting, and promoting workplace safety culture. Requirements: * Grade 12 certificate * Relevant Health and Safety qualification or equivalent * Valid driver’s licence * Minimum 5 years’ experience in a safety-related role * Experience in drilling, blasting, L&H, or maintenance environments is an advantage * Knowledge of HSE legislation and standards * Strong communication and reporting skills Responsibilities: * Monitor compliance with HSE policies and procedures * Conduct inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits * Investigate incidents and compile reports * Facilitate toolbox talks and safety meetings * Support corrective and preventative actions * Maintain HSE records and documentation * Promote a positive workplace safety culture
