Civil Engineer – Municipal Services

We are recruiting an experienced Civil Engineer specialising in Municipal Services to join our engineering team in Walvis Bay, Namibia. The successful candidate will support the design and construction supervision of municipal infrastructure, including roads, stormwater systems, water networks and sewer reticulation. Key Responsibilities: • Design and supervise municipal civil engineering infrastructure projects. • Prepare technical designs and specifications for roads, stormwater drainage, water supply and sewer reticulation systems. • Monitor construction activities and ensure compliance with approved engineering drawings and specifications. • Conduct engineering inspections and assess construction quality. • Coordinate with contractors, consultants and relevant municipal stakeholders. • Prepare technical documentation, engineering reports and project progress updates. • Assist with the resolution of infrastructure design and construction challenges. • Support efficient and sustainable municipal infrastructure development. Minimum Requirements: • BTech, BEng or BSc degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline. • Registration with the Engineering Council of Namibia (ECN). • Seven to ten years of relevant postgraduate experience in the design and construction supervision of municipal services. • Experience involving roads, stormwater infrastructure, water supply and sewer reticulation. • Valid Namibian driver's licence. • Namibian citizenship or permanent residence. • Strong engineering, communication and project coordination skills.
