Branch Supervisor

Glasfit Namibia is seeking an experienced Branch Supervisor to lead its Walvis Bay team and support the continued performance, growth and operational success of the business. The position requires an experienced manager who can lead and motivate employees, maintain strong customer-service standards, support financial and credit-management activities and ensure effective planning and organisation within the branch. Responsibilities: - Supervise and support the day-to-day operations of the Walvis Bay branch - Lead, motivate and develop branch employees to achieve operational and business objectives - Drive branch performance and contribute to continued business growth - Maintain high standards of customer service and customer satisfaction - Support effective planning, organising and prioritisation of branch activities - Apply basic financial knowledge when supporting branch operations and decision-making - Assist with credit-management activities and maintain awareness of relevant controls - Support positive labour relations and effective employee management - Build and maintain professional relationships with customers and other stakeholders - Apply strong conceptual reasoning and sound judgement to operational matters - Negotiate effectively when dealing with customers, suppliers or other business stakeholders - Identify operational priorities and take appropriate action - Maintain strong quality standards and attention to detail throughout branch operations - Promote effective communication and listening across the branch team - Monitor performance and take action to support achievement of branch objectives Requirements: - Grade 12 qualification - Commercial Degree or Diploma preferred - Minimum 3 years of managerial experience - Job Grade Level B5 - Valid driver's licence - Basic financial knowledge - Strong conceptual reasoning ability - Leadership and motivational skills - Excellent communication and listening skills - Strong relationship-building abilities - Knowledge of labour relations and credit management - Negotiation skills - Strong planning, organising and prioritising abilities - Initiative and action-oriented approach - Strong quality and detail focus
