Maintenance Supervisor

BC Stone Products (Namibia) (Pty) Ltd is recruiting an experienced Maintenance Supervisor in Walvis Bay. The successful candidate will oversee maintenance and preventative-maintenance activities across machinery, manufacturing equipment, buildings, vehicles and related infrastructure. The role requires strong mechanical experience, leadership ability and practical knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems. Key Responsibilities * Ensure preventative-maintenance schedules are in place for all machinery on site. * Conduct and oversee maintenance, servicing and repairs. * Coordinate plumbing, painting and building-maintenance work. * Oversee repairs to machines, equipment, electrical systems and vehicles. * Repair and maintain manufacturing equipment. * Work with hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems. * Order machinery spare parts. * Maintain adequate spare-parts stock levels in the factory warehouse. * Inspect and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns. * Coordinate equipment repairs. * Source and coordinate external contractors when required. * Ensure annual safety inspections are conducted on equipment. * Ensure maintenance staff and contractors comply with health and safety requirements. * Manage and safeguard maintenance tools and equipment. * Maintain accurate maintenance records. * Submit monthly maintenance reports to relevant managers. Requirements * Grade 12 with a Mechanical Trade Diploma. * Minimum 5 years’ relevant maintenance experience in a senior position. * Health and Safety Certificate or Diploma is an added advantage. * Computer literate. * Code BE driver’s licence or higher. * Ability to work at heights. * Strong team-leadership skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Flexible regarding extended working hours. * Willingness to travel. * Namibian citizen.
