Crane Mechanic

Wesbank Transport, a division of FP du Toit Transport Group, is recruiting a qualified Crane Mechanic to support operations across various mine sites. About the Role Maintain and repair cranes to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations across mining sites. Key Responsibilities * Perform preventative and corrective crane maintenance. * Diagnose hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical faults. * Conduct crane inspections and safety checks. * Perform load testing and compliance inspections. * Respond to crane breakdowns. * Restore equipment to operational condition. * Read technical manuals and diagrams. * Maintain maintenance documentation. * Ensure compliance with ISO and safety procedures. * Support mining operations with technical expertise. Minimum Requirements * Grade 12. * Qualified Diesel Mechanic with crane repair competency. * Valid Code C driver’s licence. * Minimum 5 years’ crane or plant equipment repair experience. * Strong hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical knowledge. * Ability to work at heights. * Computer literacy. * Strong communication skills in English and Afrikaans. * Valid Police Clearance Certificate (not older than 3 months). * Namibian citizen.
