Civil Engineer – Municipal Services

We are recruiting an experienced Civil Engineer – Municipal Services to join Tulipamwe Consulting Engineers in Walvis Bay, Namibia. This role supports the design and construction supervision of municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, stormwater drainage, water supply and sewer reticulation systems. Key Responsibilities: • Participate in the planning and design of municipal civil engineering infrastructure. • Supervise construction activities involving roads, stormwater systems, water networks and sewer reticulation. • Review engineering drawings, technical specifications and project documentation. • Monitor construction quality and compliance with applicable engineering requirements. • Coordinate technical activities with contractors, consultants and municipal project stakeholders. • Support the delivery of reliable municipal infrastructure and engineering services. Minimum Requirements: • BTech, BEng or BSc degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline. • Registration with the Engineering Council of Namibia (ECN). • Seven to ten years of relevant postgraduate experience in municipal infrastructure design and construction supervision. • Experience involving roads, stormwater drainage, water supply and sewer reticulation systems. • Valid Namibian driver's licence. • Namibian citizenship or permanent residency.
