Accountant (Part-Time)

We are seeking an experienced part-time Accountant to support the financial management of Sunshine Walvis Bay Child and Family Centre, a registered welfare organisation dedicated to supporting children with disabilities and their families. Our team of approximately 32 staff members provides essential community services. Working Schedule: Weekdays, 08:00–13:00. Expected Start Date: January 2027. Key Responsibilities: • Ensure compliance with NamRA tax regulations and financial reporting obligations. • Manage Social Security contributions and related administration. • Process weekly and monthly supplier payments. • Maintain and reconcile the organisational cashbook. • Manage petty cash and ensure accurate transaction records. • Prepare financial records, statements and management reports. • Assist with financial audits and supporting documentation. • Perform additional accounting duties required by the organisation. Requirements: • Diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance. • Proven experience in NGO accounting. • Knowledge of Namibian taxation and Social Security systems. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Pastel and VIP Payroll. • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
