The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership, oversee organizational transformation, manage financial and human resources, engage with government and development partners, and ensure the organization continues delivering impactful humanitarian services throughout Namibia. About the Role Lead the Namibia Red Cross Society by overseeing strategy, governance, financial stewardship, humanitarian programme delivery, stakeholder engagement, and institutional sustainability. Key Responsibilities * Lead implementation of the NRCS strategic plan. * Provide executive leadership to the organization. * Ensure financial accountability and sustainability. * Oversee humanitarian programmes. * Strengthen organizational governance. * Build partnerships with government, donors, and communities. * Lead institutional transformation initiatives. * Manage senior leadership and organizational performance. * Prepare executive reports for the Governing Board. * Ensure compliance with policies and regulations. * Promote the Fundamental Principles of the Red Cross Movement. * Drive long-term organizational growth. Minimum Requirements * Master’s Degree (preferably in Social Science or Business Sciences). * Executive leadership qualifications are an advantage. * Minimum 15 years’ progressive work experience, preferably within the NGO sector. * At least 10 years’ experience in senior management. * Experience in organizational transformation and strategic growth. * Experience in financial oversight, budgeting, and resource mobilization. * Experience working with governments, donors, partners, and communities.
