CCTV Operator

Metro is seeking a dedicated and ambitious CCTV Operator to join its Head Office team in Windhoek. This is an excellent opportunity for a vigilant and detail-oriented professional who can help strengthen security operations through daily surveillance monitoring, reporting, and system support. The successful candidate will review CCTV footage, identify control weaknesses, conduct soft audits, investigate incidents, and report anomalies detected across operations. Key Responsibilities: • Monitor daily CCTV footage and identify suspicious activity • Investigate incidents and report anomalies promptly • Conduct daily soft audits to improve control measures • Monitor CCTV central server, updates, and network systems • Respond professionally to emergency situations • Produce written incident reports when required • Liaise with store management and service providers • Support continuous improvement of security operations Qualifications: • Grade 12 with proficiency in English • Certificate or similar qualification in CCTV Surveillance • 1–2 years’ experience in CCTV maintenance or operations • CCTV networking experience (Hikvision) is an advantage • Computer literacy (Outlook, Word, Excel) • Good communication and telephone etiquette • No criminal or ITC record Personal Attributes: • Integrity and strong ethics • Self-driven and enthusiastic • Detail-oriented and organized • Motivated and proactive • Flexible and able to multitask
