The Cancer Association of Namibia (CAN) is recruiting an Assistant Projects and Fundraising Coordinator to support fundraising initiatives, communications, marketing campaigns, and project implementation. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in communications, public relations, fundraising, and digital marketing.
The successful candidate will assist with planning and executing fundraising events, create promotional materials, support social media campaigns, coordinate stakeholder engagement, manage resources, and contribute to the successful delivery of projects and public awareness activities.
Whether you have worked as a Project Coordinator, Fundraising Coordinator, Communications Officer, Public Relations Officer, Marketing Officer, Community Engagement Officer, Events Coordinator, Digital Marketing Officer, Social Media Coordinator, or NGO Programme Officer, this position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with fundraising campaigns and events.
* Support project planning and implementation.
* Promote the Association through marketing and communications.
* Create advertisements and social media content.
* Design promotional materials and publications.
* Coordinate stakeholder engagement.
* Organize exhibitions and public awareness activities.
* Perform public relations duties.
* Support administrative functions.
* Complete additional tasks assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements
* Namibian citizen.
* Valid Code B driver’s licence.
* Experience in communications and public relations.
* Experience in fundraising and event coordination.
* Proficiency in Canva, CorelDRAW and Photoshop.
* Computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel).
* Strong administrative and communication skills.
* Basic IT knowledge.
