Cashier

Waltons is looking for a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to join its retail team in Windhoek. The successful candidate will process customer transactions accurately, provide excellent customer service, assist customers on the sales floor when needed, and support daily retail operations. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with cashier, retail, customer service, or point-of-sale experience who want to build a long-term career in the retail industry. Key Responsibilities * Assist customers at the point of sale. * Process daily cashier transactions accurately. * Support customers with purchases and enquiries. * Assist on the sales floor when required. * Participate in quarterly stock takes. * Maintain excellent customer service standards. Requirements * Grade 11 Certificate with at least 20 points in 6 subjects (including Accounting or Mathematics). * Computer literate (Basic MS Office). * Previous cashier experience is an advantage. * Knowledge of stationery, computer consumables and IT hardware products is an advantage. * Good communication skills in English and Afrikaans. * Reliable and organised.
