CCTV Control Room Operator

Metro Namibia is recruiting a CCTV Control Room Operator to join its Head Office in Windhoek. This opportunity is ideal for security professionals with CCTV monitoring experience who are detail-oriented and committed to protecting company assets through effective surveillance and reporting. The successful candidate will monitor CCTV surveillance systems, identify operational weaknesses, investigate incidents, prepare reports, support fraud prevention, assist investigations, and maintain security standards across Metro Namibia stores. Whether you have worked as a CCTV Operator, CCTV Control Room Operator, Surveillance Officer, Security Control Room Operator, Monitoring Officer, CCTV Technician, Security Officer, Loss Prevention Officer, Surveillance Controller, or Control Room Officer, this role offers an excellent opportunity within the retail security industry. Key Responsibilities * Monitor CCTV surveillance systems. * Identify and report stock shortages and losses. * Detect operational control weaknesses. * Support investigations into theft and fraud. * Prepare incident reports. * Monitor CCTV network performance. * Respond to emergency situations. * Liaise with stores and service providers. * Maintain surveillance records. * Promote loss prevention and security compliance. Minimum Requirements * 1–2 years’ experience in CCTV surveillance, maintenance, or operations. * CCTV networking (Hikvision) experience is an advantage. * No criminal or ITC record. * Computer literacy (Outlook, Word, Excel). * Good communication and telephone skills. * Grade 12 with proficiency in English. * CCTV qualification or similar certification is an advantage.
