Experienced Mechanic

The successful candidate will inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain excavators, trucks, and hydraulic systems while ensuring equipment remains safe, reliable, and operational. Whether you have worked as a Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Hydraulic Mechanic, Truck Mechanic, Plant Mechanic, Workshop Mechanic, Maintenance Mechanic, Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic, or Fleet Mechanic, this role offers an excellent opportunity within the recycling and heavy equipment industry. Key Responsibilities * Diagnose mechanical faults. * Repair and maintain excavators and trucks. * Service hydraulic systems. * Perform preventative maintenance. * Complete repairs to a high standard. * Maintain workshop safety. * Report equipment defects. * Maintain repair records. * Work independently and within a team. * Support daily workshop operations. Minimum Requirements * Minimum 3 years’ experience as a mechanic. * Experience working on excavators. * Experience repairing trucks. * Experience repairing hydraulic systems. * Contactable references. * Satisfactory background/reference check. * Ability to start 1 September 2026.
