Tour Consultant

AfricaSafariTrips.com is seeking an experienced Tour Consultant to join its Windhoek office. This is an exciting opportunity for a tourism professional with strong destination knowledge, reservation experience, and excellent customer service skills to help create exceptional travel experiences across Namibia. The successful candidate will manage travel enquiries, prepare quotations, coordinate bookings, organize itineraries, liaise with suppliers, and support clients throughout their travel journey. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about Namibia’s tourism industry and delivering outstanding customer experiences. Whether you have experience as a Tour Consultant, Travel Consultant, Reservations Consultant, Travel Advisor, Safari Consultant, Tourism Consultant, Reservations Officer, Travel Coordinator, Destination Specialist, or Booking Consultant, this position offers an excellent opportunity to grow within Namibia’s tourism sector. Key Responsibilities * Handle client enquiries, bookings, itineraries, and payments. * Prepare quotations and travel proposals. * Negotiate supplier rates and coordinate reservations. * Arrange accommodation, transport, flights, and activities. * Verify bookings and supplier invoices. * Ensure travel documentation is accurate. * Assist clients before and during their travel. * Resolve travel-related issues promptly. * Support the sales team and maintain excellent customer relationships. * Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the booking process. Minimum Requirements * Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Tour Consultant in Namibia. * Extensive knowledge of Namibia’s lodges and tourism destinations. * Understanding of reservations and itinerary planning. * Excellent written and spoken English. * Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. * Degree or Diploma in Travel & Tourism or a related field.
