Primary Purpose of the Position: Lead and manage the bakery operation including production, maintenance, quality, dispatch, admin, and telesales while ensuring efficient delivery and operational excellence. Key Functions and Responsibilities: * Assist with strategic and operational bakery planning * Improve bakery production and operational efficiency * Prepare bakery performance reports * Manage staff performance and development * Support continuous improvement initiatives * Facilitate staff technical skills development * Assist with new product development and marketing collaboration * Monitor raw materials and supplier coordination * Manage inventory and ingredient rotation * Ensure compliance with food safety and customer service policies * Oversee bakery equipment maintenance * Ensure compliance with environmental and safety procedures Experience & Qualifications: * National Higher Diploma or National Certificate (1–2 years) * Technical tertiary qualification required if candidate has less than 7 years production experience * Minimum 15 years FMCG industry experience * At least 10 years supervisory or management experience * South African Chamber of Baking qualification or equivalent * ERP systems experience * Technical background is an advantage * Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook * Strong written and spoken English * Namibian citizen or legally eligible to work in Namibia Skills and Competencies: * Proficient in written and spoken English * Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency * People management skills * Eligible to work in Namibia
