Ashlee Distributors is looking for a professional, detail-oriented, and results-driven Claims Clerk. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing, reconciling, and managing claims efficiently while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
• Grade 12 with a pass in Accounting and Mathematics
• Certification in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• FMCG industry experience is mandatory
• Previous experience in claims administration, reconciliations, or a similar role
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (Vlookup)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
Key Responsibilities:
• Process, investigate, and reconcile customer and supplier claims
• Verify supporting documentation and ensure claims accuracy
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports
• Follow up on outstanding claims and discrepancies
• Liaise with internal departments regarding claim resolutions
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
