Technical Director

Job Title: Technical Director (Road & Highway Infrastructure Projects) Location: Namibia Job Description: Zhong Mei Engineering Group is seeking an experienced Technical Director to lead and oversee road and highway infrastructure projects in Namibia. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership and guidance for project execution while ensuring compliance with engineering standards, project specifications, and contractual requirements. The role involves supervising engineering designs, reviewing technical proposals, coordinating with clients and subcontractors, and resolving technical and operational project issues. Candidates will also be responsible for preparing technical reports, project documentation, and mentoring engineering teams to improve efficiency and project delivery quality. This position is best suited for a highly experienced civil engineering professional with strong leadership, communication, analytical, and project management skills within large-scale infrastructure and construction environments. Key Responsibilities: * Provide technical leadership for infrastructure projects * Review and supervise engineering designs and methodologies * Ensure compliance with engineering and contractual standards * Support project management with technical issue resolution * Prepare reports, project documentation, and correspondence * Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors * Lead and mentor engineering and technical teams Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or related field * Minimum 20 years experience in construction and infrastructure projects * Experience in road and highway infrastructure projects * Fluent spoken Chinese * Strong communication and coordination skills * Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities * Ability to work effectively with project stakeholders and teams
