Diagnostic Radiographer

About the Position An opportunity is available for an experienced Diagnostic Radiographer in Windhoek. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures while maintaining high standards of patient care, safety, and professional practice. This position is suited to a highly skilled radiographer who can work independently, manage patient interactions professionally, and contribute at a senior radiographer level. Key Responsibilities * Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures. * Perform X-ray examinations. * Perform CT scan procedures. * Perform MRI examinations. * Conduct fluoroscopic imaging procedures. * Perform basic and advanced ultrasound procedures. * Interpret and work with radiologists’ reports. * Operate and utilize PACS systems effectively. * Manage patient administration requirements. * Maintain accurate imaging records and documentation. * Ensure patient safety and quality care standards. * Support diagnostic services and workflow efficiency. Minimum Requirements Experience * Minimum of 6 years’ experience in both private and public healthcare sectors. * Proven experience working independently within a radiology environment. * Experience functioning at a senior radiographer level. Technical Skills * Diagnostic X-ray imaging. * Computed Tomography (CT). * Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). * Fluoroscopy. * Basic and advanced ultrasound procedures. * PACS system operation. * Digital Radiography (DR) systems.
