Junior Auctioneer

Agra Auctions is looking for a qualified and motivated Junior Auctioneer to support its livestock and agricultural auction activities in Namibia. This opportunity is suited to a confident professional interested in developing a career in auctioneering while contributing to customer service and successful auction operations. Responsibilities: - Support the preparation and execution of livestock and agricultural auctions - Assist with auctioneering activities and auction-day operations - Communicate professionally with buyers, sellers, farmers and other customers - Develop knowledge of livestock, auction procedures and agricultural markets - Assist with coordination of auction activities and related administration - Support accurate handling of auction information and documentation - Build professional relationships with customers and industry stakeholders - Contribute to efficient and professional auction services - Work with the Agra Auctions team to support successful auction events Requirements: - Suitable qualification or experience relevant to agriculture, livestock, sales or auctioneering - Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills - Confidence communicating with customers and groups of people - Interest in livestock, agriculture and the auction industry - Good organisational skills and professional conduct - Ability to work effectively in a team and operational environment - Customer-focused attitude and willingness to develop auctioneering skills Address: Agra Corporate Office, Human Resources Office, 8 Bessemer Street, Southern Industrial, Windhoek, Namibia
