Project Architect – High-Rise Buildings

Marley Tjitjo Architects Inc. is seeking the services of a highly experienced Project Architect to contribute to the design and contract administration of large-scale commercial and institutional developments, with particular emphasis on high-rise buildings. The position requires a registered architectural professional with extensive senior-level experience and advanced proficiency in architectural design, building information modelling, project coordination and digital design technologies. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Lead and contribute to architectural design activities for large-scale commercial and institutional building projects. • Apply extensive experience in the design development and contract administration of high-rise buildings. • Coordinate architectural project information throughout relevant design and contract administration stages. • Manage architectural workflows using Archicad 28 and BIMcloud. • Apply Building Information Modelling processes to support coordinated architectural project delivery. • Develop architectural concepts, presentations and project visualisations using Photoshop, Twinmotion and Rhino 7. • Apply parametric design capabilities to architectural design development where appropriate. • Contribute senior architectural expertise to complex commercial, institutional and high-rise building projects. • Support effective coordination of architectural information within multidisciplinary project environments. • Maintain professional architectural, technical and design standards throughout project development and administration. REQUIREMENTS • Must be registered as an Architect with NCAQS. • Master of Architecture Degree from an accredited institution. • Minimum 18 years of experience in design and contract administration of large-scale commercial and institutional buildings. • Extensive experience with a focus on high-rise buildings. • Adequate proficiency in Photoshop. • Adequate proficiency in Twinmotion. • Adequate proficiency in Rhino 7 and parametric design. • Proficiency in Office Suite. • Must be proficient in managing and using Archicad 28 and BIMcloud. This Project Architect position is tailored to a senior registered architect with substantial experience in high-rise architecture, commercial and institutional building design, architectural contract administration, BIM coordination, Archicad 28, BIMcloud, Rhino 7, Twinmotion and advanced architectural project delivery.
