The Blood Transfusion Service of Namibia (NAMBTS) is inviting applications for the position of Debtors Supervisor within its Finance and Administration Division. This opportunity is ideal for experienced finance professionals with strong debtor management, medical aid claims administration, debt collection, reconciliations, and supervisory experience.
The successful candidate will oversee debtor administration, supervise debt collection activities, manage medical aid claims, monitor outstanding accounts, prepare debtor reports, and support financial compliance and revenue recovery.

About the Role
Lead debtor management activities while ensuring accurate debtor records, efficient revenue recovery, medical aid administration, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
* Administer debtor accounts, invoicing, receipts, reconciliations, and reporting.
* Manage medical aid claims using SAGE 300 and Eminance.
* Monitor and recover outstanding debts.
* Supervise debt collection activities.
* Support and guide the Debtors Clerk.
* Prepare debtor age analyses and bad debt reports.
* Recommend write-offs where appropriate.
* Support financial administration, audits, and compliance.
* Maintain accurate debtor records.
* Improve debtor recovery processes.
Minimum Requirements
* Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* Proficiency in SAGE 300 or similar ERP/accounting systems.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
* Minimum 5 years’ practical accounting experience.
* At least 3 years’ supervisory experience in a debtors or finance team.
* Knowledge of medical aid claims administration is advantageous.
* Valid Code 8 driver’s licence (or equivalent).
