Core Network Engineer (Operator)

Dottcom Technology Namibia is seeking a skilled Core Network Engineer (Operator) to manage and support the daily operation of core telecommunications network systems. The role focuses on maintaining system stability, troubleshooting network issues, and ensuring reliable communication infrastructure performance. The successful candidate will work with advanced telecom technologies and play a key role in ensuring uninterrupted network services. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: * Perform daily operation, monitoring, and maintenance of core network systems * Troubleshoot and resolve network faults and service disruptions * Ensure stable and reliable operation of core network infrastructure * Work with ZTE PS and CS core network equipment and architectures * Analyze system performance and identify improvement opportunities * Respond to incidents and ensure minimal downtime ⸻ Requirements: * Experience working with telecom core networks * Strong knowledge of ZTE PS and CS core systems * Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve network failures independently * Understanding of telecom business architecture and network operations * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
