Project Architect – Educational Facilities & Stadia

Marley Tjitjo Architects Inc. is seeking the services of an experienced Project Architect with extensive expertise in the design and contract administration of large-scale commercial and institutional buildings, particularly educational facilities and stadia. The position requires a senior architectural professional capable of contributing to complex building projects through advanced architectural design, project coordination, digital design technologies and contract administration. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Contribute to the architectural design and development of large-scale commercial and institutional building projects. • Support the planning, design development and coordination of educational facilities and stadia projects. • Apply extensive architectural and contract administration experience throughout relevant stages of building projects. • Develop and coordinate architectural designs using appropriate digital design, modelling and visualisation technologies. • Use Archicad 28 and BIMcloud for architectural project management, design coordination and building information modelling workflows. • Apply parametric design methods where appropriate to support architectural design development. • Produce and develop architectural presentations and design material using Photoshop, Twinmotion and Rhino 7. • Contribute professional architectural knowledge to the delivery and coordination of complex commercial and institutional developments. • Maintain accurate and coordinated architectural information throughout the project design and administration process. • Work within multidisciplinary project environments where architectural design, technical coordination and contract administration are essential to successful project delivery. REQUIREMENTS • Master of Architecture Degree from an accredited institution. • Minimum 15 years of experience in design and contract administration of large-scale commercial and institutional buildings. • Significant experience focused on educational facilities and stadia. • Adequate proficiency in Photoshop. • Adequate proficiency in Twinmotion. • Adequate proficiency in Rhino 7 and parametric design. • Proficiency in Office Suite. • Must be proficient in managing and using Archicad 28 and BIMcloud. • Participation in international design competitions must be demonstrated as part of the candidate's professional background.
