Clearing Agent

FP du Toit Transport is looking for 2 Clearing Agents based at their Brakwater Depot in Windhoek. The role involves customs clearing, documentation processing, VAT and VOC sheets, invoice screening, and assisting with import/export procedures. Requirements: * Grade 12 with at least 23 points * 2–5 years’ experience in framing and clearing customs documents * Familiar with Customs & Excise procedures * Knowledge of Asycuda World systems and regulations * Willing to work irregular hours, weekends, and shifts * Namibian citizenship * Police clearance certificate not older than 3 months * Code B driver’s licence is an added advantage Responsibilities: * Ensure framing, clearing, and release of consignments * Screen invoices and ensure correct commodity/CPC codes * Complete VAT payment and VOC sheets * Handle import and export documentation (SAD500) * Assist in the verification process * Perform general Clearing Agent duties
