Accounts Payable Officer

Metro is looking for a dedicated and ambitious Accounts Payable Officer to join their Head Office team in Windhoek. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing creditors’ invoices, payroll statutory deductions, and third-party bills into the accounting system. Duties also include reconciling supplier statements, performing accurate reconciliations, and supporting stores with supplier claims and account-related queries. Applicants must have a 3-year tertiary qualification in Accounting or a finance-related field, at least 1 year of creditors’ experience, strong communication skills, attention to detail, analytical abilities, and computer literacy. Candidates should also be able to work under pressure and handle long working hours. Namibian citizenship is required.
