Production Operator

Afrox is looking for a Production Operator to join its operational team in Windhoek. The successful candidate will assist with daily plant operations, including filling cylinders, conducting plant checks, forklift driving, and maintaining gas cylinders according to company safety and operational standards. The role involves participating in safety, health, and environmental activities while ensuring compliance with all company procedures and standards. Candidates will also be responsible for plant monitoring, record keeping, and cylinder preparation tasks to support efficient production processes. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct daily plant checks and operational tasks * Fill gas cylinders and prepare cylinders for operations * Drive forklifts and assist with operational requirements * Participate in safety, health, and environmental meetings * Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures * Monitor plant activities and maintain accurate records * Perform cylinder maintenance and preparation Requirements: * Grade 12 certificate * Valid driver’s license * Manual handling training certificate is an advantage * Forklift license is an advantage * Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills
