Nakara, a well-established manufacturing company based in Windhoek, is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Financial Manager to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, reporting, budgeting, cost management, and operational financial support within a manufacturing environment. This senior-level role requires a strategic finance professional capable of supporting both financial and broader operational functions to help achieve company business objectives. The position is ideal for candidates with strong leadership abilities, manufacturing finance experience, ERP systems knowledge, and advanced analytical and reporting capabilities. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: * Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities * Manage cost control, product costing, and margin analysis * Oversee financial reporting, compliance, and audit coordination * Supervise inventory, working capital, and procurement-related financial activities * Implement and monitor risk management and internal control systems * Coordinate CAPEX planning and asset management processes * Manage ESG reporting and payroll oversight functions * Provide leadership and support across departments * Coordinate financial and operational reporting for management decision-making * Support additional operational responsibilities aligned with business goals ⸻ Minimum Requirements: * 5–10 years’ experience in financial management * Manufacturing environment experience preferred * Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance or Accounting * Strong knowledge of: * Financial reporting * Budgeting and forecasting * Product costing * Risk management * Internal controls * ERP systems experience (Omni experience advantageous) * Advanced Microsoft Excel skills * Knowledge of import/export processes and foreign currency transactions will be beneficial * Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills * Ability to adapt and support broader operational functions when required ⸻ Skills & Competencies: * Financial analysis and reporting expertise * Budget management and forecasting abilities * Strong leadership and team coordination skills * Strategic thinking and operational support capabilities * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * High attention to detail and analytical problem-solving * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment ⸻ Remuneration: Market-related and commensurate with experience.
