Head of Operations

Satguru Travel and Tours is hiring a highly experienced Head of Operations to lead its Namibia travel and tourism operations. The successful candidate will manage travel operations, airline systems, global reservations, ticket exchanges, refunds, visa processing and international holiday packages. Key Responsibilities * Lead Satguru Travel and Tours’ Namibia operations. * Manage travel, airline and tourism services. * Oversee reservations and ticketing through major GDS platforms. * Handle manual ticket exchanges and refunds. * Ensure compliance with IATA rules and regulations. * Manage international travel products and holiday packages. * Support visa-processing services. * Monitor currencies, exchange rates and global travel-market developments. * Maintain high operational and customer-service standards. Minimum Requirements * More than ten years of international experience in travel, tourism or the airline industry. * Strong knowledge of Amadeus, Galileo, Travelport and Sabre. * IATA certification is mandatory. * Strong knowledge of IATA rules and regulations. * Experience processing manual exchanges and refunds. * Strong understanding of African and international travel markets. * Knowledge of global destinations, visa processing and holiday packages. * Degree in Tourism or equivalent extensive experience.
