Marley Tjitjo Architects Inc. is seeking the services of an experienced Project Architect in Windhoek. This senior architectural opportunity is suited to a highly experienced professional with a Master of Architecture degree and extensive expertise in the design and contract administration of large-scale commercial and institutional building projects. The successful candidate will contribute advanced architectural design, project coordination and contract administration expertise, with particular emphasis on educational facilities and stadium developments. The position requires a professional capable of working on complex, large-scale architectural projects and using advanced architectural design, visualisation and building information modelling tools. KEY REQUIREMENTS • Master of Architecture degree from an accredited institution. • Minimum of 15 years' experience in architectural design and contract administration. • Demonstrated experience working on large-scale commercial and institutional buildings. • Strong project experience involving educational facilities and stadium developments. • Adequate proficiency in Adobe Photoshop. • Adequate proficiency in Twinmotion. • Adequate proficiency in Rhino 7. • Knowledge and practical capability in parametric design. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. • Candidates must be proficient in managing and using Archicad 28. • Candidates must be proficient in the use and management of BIMcloud. • Participation in international design competitions must be demonstrated and supporting evidence attached. PROFESSIONAL PROFILE The position requires an experienced architectural professional capable of contributing to sophisticated commercial and institutional developments from design through contract administration. Candidates should be comfortable working with modern architectural visualisation, parametric design and BIM technologies while supporting the coordination and delivery of complex building projects.
