Welwitchia University is inviting applications for the position of Clinical Administrator within the School of Nursing at the Windhoek Campus. The successful candidate will coordinate clinical placements, maintain student clinical records, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and provide administrative support to support the quality and efficiency of clinical education processes.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Coordinate clinical placements for students across nursing programmes
• Maintain accurate and updated student clinical records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and statutory requirements
• Support communication between the Clinical Office, academic staff, students, and stakeholders
• Provide administrative support to strengthen clinical education processes
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree (NQF L7) in Business/Public Administration, Health Administration, Nursing, or related health field
• Minimum 3 years of administrative experience, preferably in healthcare or education
Additional Requirements:
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of student management systems is an advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Student-centred and emotionally intelligent approach
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
