General Manager

Reports To: Head Office / Directors Job Description: Würth Namibia Co. (Pty) Ltd is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead and grow its operations in Windhoek. The successful candidate will oversee sales performance, customer development, strategic planning, and team management across multiple industry sectors including automotive, cargo, mining, metal, and wood industries. The company is looking for a strong leader with excellent communication skills, strategic business thinking, and proven senior management experience. The ideal candidate should be sales-driven, self-motivated, and capable of managing high-performing teams while building strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and motivate a team of Customer Sales Consultants (CSC) * Drive sales growth, profitability, and customer development * Implement and support multichannel sales strategies * Build and maintain strong client relationships * Conduct market research and competitor analysis * Manage team performance, reporting, and operational meetings * Travel with the sales team when required (approximately 16 days per month) * Oversee recruitment, staff training, and disciplinary processes * Support strategic business growth and operational efficiency Requirements: * Matric or equivalent qualification * Marketing or Business qualification will be advantageous * Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior management role * Strong communication and negotiation skills * Sales-driven, goal-oriented, and self-motivated personality * Strong leadership and presentation skills * Strategic thinking ability * Computer literacy (MS Office) * Relevant product and industry knowledge * Clear criminal and credit record * Must reside in Windhoek or be willing to relocate Salary: Negotiable
