Machine Operator

360 Consult is recruiting a Machine Operator for a position based in Windhoek, Namibia. The successful candidate will support day-to-day production and manufacturing operations by operating assigned machinery safely, efficiently and according to established production and quality requirements. The Machine Operator will be expected to operate production equipment, monitor machine performance and help maintain an efficient workflow throughout the production process. The position requires a safety-conscious and dependable individual who can follow operating procedures, maintain consistent production standards and identify operational problems that may affect productivity or product quality. Key Duties and Responsibilities: • Operate assigned production and manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently. • Prepare machinery and work areas for daily production activities. • Monitor equipment during operation and identify unusual performance, faults or production interruptions. • Follow established machine operating procedures and production instructions. • Support the achievement of daily production targets and operational deadlines. • Inspect output and assist in maintaining required product and quality standards. • Report machinery faults, defects and maintenance requirements promptly to the appropriate supervisor. • Assist with basic machine checks and routine operational inspections where required. • Maintain accurate production information and operational records where applicable. • Follow workplace health, safety and operational procedures at all times. • Maintain a clean, organised and safe machine operating area. • Work effectively with production supervisors and other team members to maintain efficient workflow. The ideal candidate should be dependable, safety-conscious, attentive to detail and comfortable working in a production or industrial environment. Practical machine-operation experience, mechanical awareness and the ability to follow technical and safety instructions will be valuable for this position.
